The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim gets a new life
A massive mod for Skyrim will be free to download from the SureAI website soon
This year at E3, Bethesda announced that they would be launching The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered for the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and the PC, with the latter getting the remastered edition for free, for all those who already own the Legendary edition. However, this article is not about the Remastered Skyrim, but rather about Enderal a massive mod for Skyrim.
A team of 14 modders based out of Munich called SureAI have finally announced the launch date of their latest project, Enderal. Just like Oblivion’s Nehrim mod before, where they essentially built a game within a game, Enderal promises to be bigger and better but this time in Skyrim. SureAI has managed to make a completely new experience, set within the much beloved world of Skyrim, with a completely new story, comprising brand new locations, enemy types and a fully voice acted experience.
Moreover, SureAI have also revamped the complete levelling structure, so that there is a lot to do even for veterans of the game. SureAI revealed that the launch date for Enderal, unfortunately only the German version of the mod will be available initially after July 3, 2016. Luckily for those of you who are waiting eagerly for the English version the wait won’t be too long as it is expected to land towards the end of July.
The mod will be free to download from the SureAI website and you need to have only the base game installed on your PC to be able to enjoy this brand new adventure in the harsh frozen landscape of Skyrim, the DLCs are not necessary. Mod’s and Modders have long since helped games stay relevant long after developers have moved on and SureAI’s projects are another prime example of how invaluable modders have become in the gaming community, often making a game even better that what developers imagine it could have been.
