Update: 2018-06-03 11:21 GMT
It's been a long time.

It looks like Oppo may be ready to launch its next flagship smartphone, the Oppo Find X smartphone in India. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer took to Twitter, on Oppo India’s official account stating, “Hi! It's been a long time. The OPPO Futuristic Flagship phone is coming. #OPPOFindX.”

As of now, there is really not much known about the Oppo Find X smartphone but we can assume that it will feature an almost bezel-less display and come with a notch like on the iPhone X. With these features in tow, the Oppo Find X will in all likelihood compete with the recently launched Vivo X21 in India.

Though nothing is yet known about the Oppo Find X, the smartphone may come with a speedy Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, a QHD resolution display, a rear dual camera system and fast charging technology.

The last Oppo Find series device launched way back in 2014 which was the Oppo Find 7. It had a 5.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The Find 7 came loaded with a Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 chipset, and a Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 CPU. Oppo added 3GB RAM and it was fitted with 32GB of internal storage. The Oppo Find 7 came with a 13MP rear shooter and a 5MP front facing camera. As far as the battery was concerned, the Find 7 came with a removable 3000mAh battery.

Based on the features of the Find 7, we can expect Oppo to add great specifications to their upcoming flagship handset, the Find X.

As far as pricing is concerned, one should expect the Oppo Find X to be featured in the premium mid-range price bracket.
