Xiaomi X1 leaks, showcases a mid-range bezel-less smartphone
The alleged Xiaomi X1 is supposed to run on the Snapdragon 660 chipset and will feature four cameras.
Xiaomi’s Mi Mix set the expectations of the smartphone seekers very high and led some major players of the mobile industry to follow suit with similar bezel-less displays. So when a new Xiaomi smartphone with a new codename leaks, it is expected that it will be having a bezel-less display. Therefore, the latest leak exactly suggests that.
According to a leak on Weibo and Android Treasure, a new smartphone by the name of Xiaomi X1 has leaked with a lot of information. The smartphone is expected to be equipped with a 5.5-inch QHD display, a Snapdragon 660 chipset, a dual camera setup on the rear and the dual camera setup for the front unit as well. There will be two models – one with a regular display with bezels on the side and another one with a full-screen bezel-less display from JDI.
The leak also reveals that the X1 will come with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage and could be priced at 1999 yuan (Rs 19,000) or 2299 yuan (Rs 22,000) for the base variant and 2499 yuan (Rs 24,000) or 2799 yuan (Rs 26,500) for the high-end variant.
The full-screen variant of the Xiaomi X1 will come with 6GB RAM and 64/128GB storage and could start at 2299 yuan (Rs 22,000). The leak also claims that the Xiaomi X1 is also expected to be launched in July. However, there’s no word from the company as of now regarding the handset.
