Anirudh, the new pin-up boy

Anirudh Ravichander, who took the music industry by storm with his "Kolaveri Di" number, has been getting noticed for being stylishly turned out in association with a film, called 'Aakko', posters of which adorned the walls of the city recently.  It was as though the young lad was making his foray into acting and that the posters were his ‘first look’. Interestingly, Anirudh is only composing music for a new Tamil film, titled 'Aakko' (Over Enthusiastic).
Sources say that Anirudh was impressed with the script when director Shyam Kumar briefed him and agreed to compose the music.  Reportedly, the end result was a breathtaking album. The film makers — Deepan Bhoopathy and Rathesh — have, in turn, reciprocated their delight by doing a photo shoot with Anirudh for their first look. The story revolves around three over-enthusiastic young men and their strange encounters on a single night.
