Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone bond over ‘Pinga’ song
Initially believed to be a dance off, this turned into this beautiful song of love
Mumbai: Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic dance off that fans have waited months to see, released online this afternoon and it is nothing short of grandeur, elegance and royalty. The song that is a Marathi folk song, infused with classical elements, has Priyanka Chopra as Kashi Bai welcoming Deepika Padukone’s Mastani to the Bajirao household.
What was initially believed to be a dance off where the two ladies vie for attention, turned into this beautiful song and dance sequence where the two ladies share their pains of loving the same man. Dressed in the traditional Marathi silk saree, with traditional necklace called Kolhapuri Saj, a khopa hairdo and clinking green bangles, both ladies are the prefect images of married Maharastrian women.

The last time SLB had two ladies competing on the dance floor was in his film 'Devdas', 13 years ago where Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan danced to ‘Dola Re’.
