Ajay Devgn has wrapped up the shoot of a biopic on the Maratha warrior Taanaji and will be beginning his next soon. In a few days, Ajay will embark on the shoot of his film on the life of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim directed by Badhaai Ho director Amit Sharma. “It is not easy to shift from one real-life story to another as you are living another real-life person completely. Both Tanaaji Malusare and Syed Abdul Rahim are two different personalities and from different eras. One is a warrior and the other is a football coach,” says an industry source.

The film will be shot in a stretch of 125 days in what is billed as a start-to-finish schedule. “The film will be shot in India at Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow and Kolkata and will then move abroad to Jakarta, Rome and Melbourne,” adds the source.

Incidentally at the moment, Ajay is also playing another real-life role in the film Bhuj: The Pride of India which sees him in the role of IAF officer Vijay Karnik who with the help of villagers from Bhuj built an airstrip in the location to fight against Pakistan during the 1971 war. After that, Ajay will be seen going a few 100 years back when he will play Chanakya in the Neeraj Pandey film.
