Alia takes off to Kashmir for shoot, but will also fulfill a personal commitment

First things first. Alia has been uneasy ever since her boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra left for the snow-clad state to film Aiyaary with producer-director Neeraj Pandey.

Alia even dropped in to meet him just before he left for his shoot. And now that he is gone, the actress is missing him, hence she has decided to take off to Kashmir.

Well, there’s another reason too. Professionally, Alia will be playing a Kashmiri girl in her next film to be directed by Meghna Gulzar, and she wants to prepare for the character as well. It seems like the perfect ruse to meet and interact with some local Kashmiri girls and get a grip of the language and the mannerisms, to get into the character for her role in a movie. Alia certainly knows how to combine work with pleasure and seems to be doing a great job too.
