Taimur already has Kareena's pout: Priyanka Chopra
While the couple chose to keep mum on the controversy, Priyanka Chopra has silenced the trollers.
Mumbai: Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were blessed with a baby boy last week. While people bestowed good wishes upon the bundle of joy, who’s named Taimur, many lost their cool over the newborn’s name.
The day Kareena and Saif welcomed their first day, the kid’s name started to trend on Twitter, as expected. While many bestowed love upon the newborn baby, few also ook to their handles to troll the couple for naming their baby boy Taimur, which means ‘Iron’ in Urdu. But the Twitterati bashed the couple as the name also resembles to the barbaric ruler who invaded India.
While the couple chose to keep mum on the controversy, Karan Johar, who had shared the kid’s name with the world on his Twitter, absolutely ridiculed people for having objections on the name given to a child by his parents.
“It's such a proud moment for the wonderful family, Saif, Kareena and the entire family. It is really unfair the way people reacted to this beautiful blue-eyed baby’s name. It’s their prerogative what they name their son and it is their decision to what name they want,” Karan had said at an award show.
Now Priyanka Chopra has also asked people to focus on the fact of Taimur becoming a Prince. “I am very private about my personal life always and because I am a believer that even though public people are for public consumption, there is a part of their life which makes them human and makes them personal. And I definitely think it is no one's business what a family decides to do and what happens within the 4 walls of their house. It is such a wonderful moment and it is such a beautiful baby and he already has Kareena's pout. I am very excited for both Saif and Bebo. And the child is going to be a Prince and people need to focus on that,” Priyanka said at a recent event.
