Amazon MX Player unveils trailer for crime drama Chidiya Udd starring Jackie Shroff
Amazon’s free streaming service, Amazon MX Player, has unveiled the official trailer for its upcoming crime drama series Chidiya Udd. Based on Aabid Surti’s critically acclaimed novel Cages, the series promises to dive deep into the gritty underworld of Mumbai, offering a captivating narrative of crime, power struggles, and survival. The series is set to stream exclusively from 15th January 2025 on Amazon MX Player, completely free for viewers.
Produced by Harman Baweja and Vicky Bahri and directed by Ravi Jadhav, Chidiya Udd boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Bollywood legend Jackie Shroff, Bhoomika Meena, Sikandar Kher, Madhur Mittal, Mayur More, and Mita Vashisht, each playing pivotal roles in the gripping story.
The plot revolves around Seher, a young woman from Rajasthan, who is thrust into the heart of Mumbai's dangerous underworld. As Seher navigates the complex and brutal world around her, Chidiya Udd explores her internal battle for survival and her quest to escape the vicious cycle of power and crime that entraps her. The show promises to delve into themes of resilience, defiance, and the stark realities of life in one of India’s most unforgiving environments.
