Rapper Drake pays for groceries and scholarships while filming for his new video

He donated $25,000 and announced that all students will be supplied with uniforms he designed with his clothing label.

Drake surprised students at Miami Senior High School on Monday by shooting parts of his new video God’s Plan. MiamiHerald.com reported that he donated $25,000 and announced that all students will be supplied with uniforms he designed with his clothing label, OVO.

He then showed up at the University of Miami and gave a student named Destiny James a $50,000 scholarship. On Tuesday, the rapper paid a visit to a Sabor Tropical Supermarket. E! News reported that he strolled in around 4 pm with a megaphone, announcing that the food was on him. 

He even surprised residents of Lotus Village and gave the Overtown homeless shelter another cheque for $50,000. Drake gave $150 gift cards to all 130 women who live at the shelter, and came equipped with toys and games for all 140 kids.
