Kishore in a complex role

Goli Soda fame actor and National award winner, Kishore, has been roped for a film titled Edhir Kol as a lead hero and Meghna plays his pair. Directed by Ayyanar, a former assistant to Krishna of Nedunchalai fame, the film has Kaali Venkat who is on a high, Thennavan, Master Sivashankar, Sharmila in the supporting cast. Kishore is said to be performing a complex character.

Speaking about the movie, Ayyanar says, “The movie is set in a school campus and the romance blossoms between the lead pair. At that age, children are considered immature and don’t realise that it is not true love —  but merely infatuation. They also struggle with handling the situation. I am confident that my film Edhir Kol will delve into the topic thoroughly, and will bring to light how  children who claim to have fallen in love are vulnerable to its negative effects. There’s a big message to parents, especially those with girl children.”

The director adds, “The film also depicts the bond shared by father and son.”
Kishore rose to fame for his performances in Pandiraj’s Pasanga and Vijay Milton’s Goli Soda.
