Rakul surprised me: Nagarjuna
Actor Nagarjuna talks about son Naga Chaitanya's upcoming film, Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam.
Nagarjuna recently announced that he is planning to release his elder son Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam in mid-May. “I watched the film every day as I sat with the director in the edit room, so I know how beautiful it is,” says the actor. “It’s an emotional drama between a father and his children. Jagapati Babu, Sampath, Chaitanya and Rakul play four important characters,” he reveals, adding that one can see a different Rakul in this film. “Rakul surprised me with her performance as a village girl who comes to town and dreams about her husband. She wore half-saris throughout the film and looked like a Telugu ammayi,” says Nagarjuna.
The film is directed by Kalyan Krishna, who worked earlier with Nagarjuna in Soggade Chinni Nayana. “Kalyan is a good writer and has penned very nice dialogues for this film. He establishes characters well and this film is a mix of two of my earlier favourites — Manmadhudu and Ninne Pelladatha,” reveals Nagarjuna.
