39 plots allotted to farmers via e-lottery

Vijayawada: A total of 24 residential and 15 commercial plots were allotted to 20 farmers through an e-lottery held at the AP Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) office in Vijayawada on Monday. The e-lottery was conducted for the farmers who had contributed 12.53 acres of land for the Gannavaram airport expansion project in 2016. APCRDA special deputy collector (Land Administration) B.L.N. Rajakumari handed over the plot allotment documents to the farmers.


The APCRDA appointed village surveyors and GIS staff to help the farmers identify their plots on the ground. The special deputy collector advised the farmers to visit one of the nine registration centres, specially set up in Amaravati, to complete the registration of their plots within a week. CRDA additional commissioner G. Surya Sai Praveen Chand, Gudivada RDO Balasubramanyam, Gannavaram Tahsildars Sivaiah and K. Aruna Devi were among those who were present.
