Cyclonic Circulation May Bring Rain to AP

Visakhapatnam: The cyclonic circulation over the southwest Bay of Bengal is expected to intensify into a low-pressure area by Sunday, potentially moving westward toward the Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka coasts, the IMD reported on Friday.

The IMD forecast thunderstorms with lightning at isolated locations over South Coastal Andhra Pradesh (SCAP) and Rayalaseema on November 10. From November 11 to 13, heavy rainfall is anticipated in isolated areas across SCAP and Rayalaseema, along with thunderstorms and lightning.

Despite this forecast, dry weather is expected across Andhra Pradesh on Saturday, with no major change in temperatures. Light rainfall was recorded at one or two locations in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam on Thursday.
